2nd SRN-HN Forum: Future of Nutrition Prevention

On 24 September 2026, around 40 experts in nutrition, public health, research, and practice gathered at BFH in Bern for the 2nd SRN-HN Forum. The event provided a platform for exchanging knowledge, strengthening collaborations, and discussing the future of nutrition prevention in Switzerland.

Following keynote presentations by Prof. Dr. Sabine Rohrmann on The current state of prevention in Switzerland and by Dr. Ana Cecilia Quiroga Gutierréz on The Economic impact of investment in health prevention, participants engaged in interactive World Café sessions focusing on research priorities for nutrition prevention, stakeholder engagement and policy development, and strategies for implementing and scaling prevention initiatives across Switzerland.

The discussions highlighted both opportunities and challenges in advancing nutrition-related prevention. Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration across disciplines and sectors to address complex public health issues and to develop a shared vision for the future.

The forum concluded with an apéro, offering additional opportunities for networking and informal exchange among participants.
